Description of Bank of Spain Scholarships

Third. - Application requirements.

 

3.1.  Applications must be made by filling in the online form at Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía's electronic site, found at https://museoreinasofia.sede.gob.es

3.2.  All applications, which will use the format for each type of scholarship published along with this resolution, must be filled out completely in Spanish.  

3.3.  All applications must be filled in correctly throughout, ensuring all information is complete and truthful, with any applicants entering untrue or false details being automatically eliminated from the process. Any data not provided will not be taken into consideration. 

3.4.  By entering his/her signature in the application form, the applicant authorizes other Public Administrations to obtain the information necessary to determine, know and verify all the identification details, personal circumstances, residence and academic record necessary to complete the application process. 

3.5.  Applications must be submitted with the documentation detailed below, either in Spanish or translated into Spanish, where appropriate:

  1. In the case of applicants who do not have their tax residence in Spanish territory, electronic or digitized copy of the tax residence certificate.

  2. Electronic or digitized copy of the university degree and personal academic certificate, with official validity, expressly stating the start and end date of the studies, the grades obtained and the average overall grade, and indicating that all course subjects have been passed. All academic records averaging below grade 7 or 8, or the equivalent in credits, will be rejected.

  3. Electronic or digitized copy of the homologation credential issued by the Ministry of Education for foreign higher education degrees in the same specialty.

  4. Electronic or digitized copy of all certificates named in the applicant's resume. Merits that are not duly accredited will not be taken into consideration. With regard to professional merits acquired in the Public Administration, a certificate issued by the corresponding personnel unit must be provided for the period in question. In all other cases, a copy of the work contract(s) and/or certificate issued by the employer company, and, in all cases, a history of social security payments certificate issued by the Social Security General Treasury. Whenever professional experience has been acquired on a self-employed basis, a copy of the associated service agreement(s) must be provided.

  5. For national candidates with official mother tongues other than Spanish, an electronic or digitised copy of the certificate accrediting knowledge of Spanish, preferably the Spanish as a Foreign Language Diploma (DELE) from Instituto Cervantes, or its equivalent, meeting at least level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference.

  6. Declaration by the applicant, in the relevant section of the application form, that he/she is neither subject to any incompatibility or prohibition to obtain scholarships nor under any obligation to reimburse such scholarships, as set out in Article 13 of Act 38/2003, of 17th November, General Subsidies, and Article 25 of Royal Decree 887/2006, of 21st July, which approves the Regulations of Act 38/2003, of 17th November, General Subsidies.

  7. Any other documents required in the application form.

 3.6. Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía may request any additional information it deems necessary at any stage of the scholarship application process.
