Privacy and Data Protection

The Digital Office of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía does not collect personal data without consent. The data provided by the interested party will be used, solely and exclusively, for the purposes foreseen in the relevant procedure or action.

In compliance with the provisions of Law 3/2018, of 5 December, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, the transferor of the data may, at any time, exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation, revocation of consent, limitation of the use of data, portability, objection and opposition in the manner determined by regulations.

This privacy policy applies to the pages of this Digital Office. It is not guaranteed for access through links to this site, or for links from this site to other websites.

Pursuant to article 6.1 g) of Royal Decree 1671/2009, of 6 November, a link to the  Digital Office of the Spanish Data Protection Agency is hereby included.

Intellectual and industrial property

Both the design of this Digital Office and its source code, as well as its logos, brands, and other distinctive signs that appear therein, belong to the Ministry of Territorial Policy and Public Function or to the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and are protected by the corresponding intellectual and industrial property rights.

Its use, reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other similar or analogous activity is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorised by the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía. The licence for use of any content of this Digital Office, granted to the user, is limited to the downloading of said content and the private use thereof, provided that the aforementioned contents remain intact and the source is acknowledged (Law 37/2007,  of 16 November on the reuse of public sector information), with the user respecting the provisions of Legislative Royal Decree 1/1996, of 12th April, which approves the revised text of the Intellectual Property Act, at all times.

Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía respects the intellectual and industrial property rights of third parties, meaning you should contact the Museum if you believe this site may be breaching such rights.

Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

The applicable law in case of dispute or conflict of interpretation of the terms of this Legal Notice, and any other issue relating to the services of this Digital office, will be Spanish law.

For the resolution of any conflict that may arise during access to the Digital Office or the use of the services offered therein, the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía and the User agree to submit to the Judges and Courts of the User’s place of residence, provided that such residence is located in Spanish territory.
